So what is it? I’ll defer to the wikipedia post on del.icio.us: “The website del.icio.us (pronounced as “delicious”) is a social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks.” Check out the wikipedia entry, if only for the link to the page on folksonomy, which is my new favorite word. So basicallly, del.icio.us is a tool that allows you to take your bookmarks on the road, you can access them from any computer that’s online instead of having your links marooned on (one of your) computer(s). But really, it is so much more.
